The njlegalize.me Events Calendar is free to use for any cannabis-related event in New Jersey. Whether you're hosting a dispensary product launch, an educational workshop, a networking meetup, or a community gathering, submitting your event takes just a few minutes.

You'll need a free account with a verified email address before you can submit.

Step 1: Navigate to the Events Calendar

Click Cannabis Events Calendar in the main navigation, or go directly to njlegalize.me/events.

Step 2: Find the Submit Event Option

On the Events Calendar page, you'll see a banner prompting you to sign in to submit your event. Click Sign In and log into your account. Once logged in, a Submit Event button will appear at the top of the calendar.

Step 3: Fill in Your Event Details

The event submission form walks you through everything needed to create a complete listing:

  • Title — keep it clear and descriptive
  • Description — explain what the event is, who it's for, and what attendees can expect
  • Category — choose the best fit (Dispensary Events, Educational Workshops, Industry Networking, etc.)
  • Date and time — start and end, including timezone
  • Venue — select an existing venue from the list or enter a new one with a full address

Step 4: Add Optional Details

  • Event image — strongly recommended; events with images get significantly more clicks
  • Capacity — if your event has limited spots, set the number here
  • Ticket or registration URL — link out to Eventbrite, your website, or wherever tickets are sold
  • Pricing — note whether the event is free or paid

Step 5: Submit for Review

Click Submit Event when you're ready. Your event will be reviewed by the njlegalize.me team and published to the calendar, typically within 24–48 hours. You'll receive an email confirmation once it goes live.

Tips for Getting Approved Quickly

  • Use a real venue address — events without a location may be delayed
  • Upload an event image — it makes your listing look professional and complete
  • Events must be cannabis-related and take place in New Jersey
  • Keep the description focused on what attendees actually get out of showing up
