These Terms of Service govern your use of njlegalize.me, operated by Legalize Media. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Age Requirement

You must be 21 years of age or older to use this platform, consistent with New Jersey cannabis law. By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 21 years old. We reserve the right to terminate any account we have reason to believe belongs to someone under 21.

2. What njlegalize.me Is

njlegalize.me is a community information platform. We provide a directory of licensed cannabis businesses, a cannabis brand directory, an events calendar, and venue listings for New Jersey. We are not a dispensary, retailer, or cannabis operator. We do not sell cannabis products, process transactions between buyers and sellers, or endorse any specific business or product.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at support@njlegalize.me. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Content Submissions

Registered users may submit events for publication on our calendar. Business owners may submit claims to manage their business listings. By submitting content, you:

  • Represent that the information is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
  • Grant njlegalize.me a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote the content on this platform and in related marketing
  • Retain ownership of your content — we will not sell it to third parties
  • Agree that we may edit, reject, or remove your submission at our discretion

All event submissions are reviewed before publication. Submission does not guarantee publication.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not use this platform to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Impersonate another person, business, or organization
  • Submit spam, promotional content unrelated to NJ cannabis, or unsolicited advertising
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or another user's account
  • Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content without prior written permission
  • Promote illegal activity or content that violates New Jersey or federal law

6. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to review, approve, reject, edit, or remove any user-submitted content at our sole discretion, without notice. We are not liable for user-generated content posted on the platform, nor are we responsible for verifying the accuracy of business information sourced from third parties.

7. Paid Services — Event Boosts

njlegalize.me offers optional paid promotional features, including event boosts that increase an event's visibility on the platform. The following terms apply to all paid services:

  • Payment Processing: All payments are processed by PayPal. By purchasing a paid feature, you agree to PayPal's terms of service. We do not store your payment credentials.
  • Charges: The price for each boost tier is displayed at the time of purchase. Charges are applied immediately upon confirmation.
  • Refunds: Paid boost fees are non-refundable once a boost period has begun. If a technical error on our part prevented your boost from being applied, contact us within 7 days at support@njlegalize.me and we will review your case.
  • Expiration: Boosts are time-limited. Expired boosts are not renewed automatically.

8. Cannabis Compliance

This platform lists and promotes legal cannabis activity in New Jersey under the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization (CREAMM) Act. All content submitted to this platform must comply with applicable New Jersey cannabis laws and NJ Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC) guidelines.

We do not knowingly list unlicensed cannabis operators. If you believe a listing is for an unlicensed business, please report it to support@njlegalize.me.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

njlegalize.me is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the platform — including business information, event details, or brand listings. Event details (dates, times, locations, prices) are provided by organizers and may change. Always verify directly with the event organizer before attending.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legalize Media and njlegalize.me are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, reliance on any content displayed here, or attendance at any event listed on the site.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
