“So Cranbury is a unique situation,” Gusciora said Monday by phone. “We didn’t contemplate a town saying, yes, we want medical marijuana dispensaries but no, we don’t want recreational.”
Asked how his bill would have to change, he said “that a town, if they allow medical, they can say we’ll tolerate the medical but we’re not allowing recreational.”
“I don’t think, at the end of the day, we can force towns. If they don’t want recreational, they don’t want recreational,” he said. “I think that a town can say, yes, we’ll allow medical but not recreational. I just haven’t contemplated that. So this is a unique situation.”
