Don't expect Murphy to jump on an idea floating around Trenton that New Jersey voters should be the ones to decide if the state should legalize recreational marijuana.
The governor wants the Legislature to legalize pot here by the end of the year. But some Democrats have joined Republicans in pushing back on that, too.
There has been a growing sentiment among some that state leaders should put it up to the voters, allowing them to decide in a referendum.
Does Murphy support that? The governor said "we're going to pursue the legislative route" first.
