At its next meeting, the board will weigh applications filed by The Leaf Joint, LLC (391 Central Avenue) Perennial Group Corporation (248 First Street), Oceanfront Holdings LLC (141 Newark Avenue), Medusa NJ LLC (759A Bergen Avenue) and Garden Greenz LLC (190 Newark Avenue).
The approvals come about a week after the board granted a use variance for what would be the city’s first recreational marijuana business, Blossom Dispensary, which plans to convert a garage at 746-748 Tonnelle Avenue into a retail cannabis shop.
