The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, which was created to establish and enforce the rules and regulations governing the licensing, cultivation, testing, selling, and purchasing of cannabis in the state, has announced regional hearings. The topic will be using social equity revenue for community good.
There are three scheduled with South Jersey set for March 16 from 7-9pm. This virtual meeting will be a forum for regional stakeholders and neighbors to share ideas on how the fees collected on the sale of cannabis products can be used to for community betterment. According to Cannabis Regulatory site almost 500 individuals and entities established accounts in the first few hours that the Commission started accepting license applications.
