What do you expect when you put in charge ideological apparatchiks who have never operated a business, never created a job, or risk having to pay personal bills from business income? You certainly do not get any kind of urgency, customer service or common business sense.
For example, the CRC this past December 7 awarded 30 medical dispensary licenses to 2019 applicants who had been delayed awards because of litigation. These awardees were given 20 business days from the date of award to confirm site control and local municipal approval during the Christmas Holidays. Anyone with practical business experience knows that it can take weeks or months to close on any kind of lease or land sale or receive approval from a New Jersey Municipality.
What you see currently happening at the CRC today is the beginning of another bloated bureaucracy staffed by recycled state workers. These reshuffled CRC employees do not bring any deep business knowledge of the cannabis marketplace.
