John Lehmann, consultant and founder of LoFade Laboratories, is a southern Oregon medical grower and processor and a New Jersey native. He has spent the last seven years designing processes that blend efficiency and scientific understanding into the cultivation and harvesting process. These include irrigation methods, building soils, automatic fertilization methods, composting, sustainable practices and more.
"Cultivation is a crucial part of the cannabis industry because, naturally, the plant is where it all begins, and we want NJ to be an innovative cultivation leader," said Stacey Yalenti, CPA, Women Grow – Flemington market leader and principal of Crabapple Cove Accounting Group. "We are pleased to bring in an expert like John to break down the intricacies and complexity of the cultivation and harvest process and explain just how the cultivation space has evolved over the past several years."
Also speaking will be cannabis cultivation specialist and operations consultant Darren Henney, who has more than six years' experience in the legal cannabis industry, most recently as the director of cultivation at the Compassionate Care Foundation, a New Jersey alternative treatment center.
Henney oversaw Compassionate Care Foundation's development of the state's highest THC strain, Sour Banana Sherbet, as well as the highest CBD strain, AC/DC. Henney also helped boost production by more than 300 percent and increase sales by more than 400 percent during his tenure.
