Bucks law enforcement eyeing recreational marijuana bill introduced in New Jersey
Those crimes are not ones officers intend to take lightly, said Bucks County Deputy District Attorney Christopher Rees.
“We’re going to take that just as seriously as we would anybody else jeopardizing the safety of the residents of Bucks County,” Rees said. “It may seem like a great laugh to knock down a handful of Pringles and a bunch of Mountain Dew on your couch, but if you have to go to the store under the influence of marijuana and you get behind the wheel, your reaction time, your perceptions are, at best, affected and more than likely off or slowed or delayed.”
