The Flemington Borough Council voted to approve a new cannabis license for Aunt Mary’s Cannabis Dispensary at the Sept. 26 meeting, which will allow the Flemington business to include recreational cannabis sales at its location.
The dispensary was previously only licensed for medicinal cannabis sales.
The license is the third cannabis license to be issued by the borough and the second recreational license.
Aunt Mary’s Cannabis Dispensary has been granted an annual license by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, and now offers recreational cannabis for sale along with medicinal. The store located at 100 Reaville Ave, suite 211, is in the Shoppes at Flemington.
The resolution voted on and passed by the Flemington council authorizes the issuance of a class 5 retail license to Aunt Mary’s for the commercial sale of recreational cannabis pursuant to sections of the municipal code. The resolution took effect upon its adoption by the borough council Sept. 26.
