The Red Bank Planning Board of Adjustment approved last night a cannabis retail outlet that was formerly a dry-cleaning store at 45 Bridge Ave. for Monteverde NJ, Inc.
Richard Wells, the attorney for Monteverde, provided an historical overview to the Board beginning by saying, “This is an application to convert an existing medical marijuana dispensary to adult use. The State awarded Monteverde a medical marijuana dispensary license in December 2021.
They signed a lease at the 45 Bridge Ave. property, received approval of their site plan by the borough’s Zoning Board in September 2022.”
Attorney Wells introduced the principles of Monteverde including founder and majority owner Elizabeth Egan and Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer Devin Liles.
