He shared that he developed the cannabis practice at one of the largest insurers in the global market and created equitable policies for cannabis operators. Jackson has also worked with 100 different cultivation and grow operations. He reported that in addition to all the experience that Yerrr Canna has, they've partnered with a consultant from one of the most tenured markets in Oregon that has been in operation for a decade.
Jackson described an educational program that Yerrr Canna will offer, “We’ll pay to put a minimum number at least five residents through our cannabis certification cultivation courses. It’s a hybrid model of both online training and in person training that will conduct hands-on with our director of cultivation.” He explained that the program includes having participants get the baselines and the certification that they work with.
He added, “We then put people in our cultivation to see hands-on how to make cuttings, transport pots, start the vegetative process and then move to the flower process and really teach people how they can get in on the cultivation angle, specifically here in West Orange.”
The town council unanimously passed the ordinance to recommend Yerrr Canna to the state.
